They are also hindering our ability to discover new things as the echo chambers that are social media algorithms get smaller and smaller and more and more targeted to what they think we want. Until one of us is smart enough to soak up the aroma at a beautiful unknown coffee shop in the middle of nowhere or when we remove our gaze from the rectangular gatekeepers that control our every brainwave. Only then can we and a breathtaking piece of art on a museum wall that isn’t an overpriced JPG of a monkey that commands “status” or one that requires a clunky Vr headset to summon its presence.

Reality is our escape if we aren’t to scared to expose ourselves to it again.
