Sadly Stephan you are right. What I do think is very awesome is how these platforms can be a gateway to opening up new possibilities to people. I'm about to be a first-time father and I'm so excited to teach my son logic and how conditional statements and the basics of coding. I see toys like Code-a-pillar, Cubetto, and the iRobot coding apps and I get excited. Growing up I hated math. It was never taught to me in a way that helped me see the possibilities. I wrote this article to hopefully paint a few new pictures for us to see. Everything is being automated. The one thing I believe will always be valuable is the ability to use critical thinking and creativity to solve problems. Machines won't be replacing that at least in my lifetime or my sons lifetime (I hope).
